Black Fly Smashin' Fly In

Our Black Fly Smashin' RAF Fly In will be held at Southern Maine (KSFM) Aviation's Big Blue Hangar on Saturday, May 7th.  This will be a rain or shine event.  The purpose of this event is to report on the activities of the Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF).  We will cover some national RAF news, but more importantly we will report and discuss New England Airstrip Happenings.  The meeting and discussion will begin at 10:00 AM to give folks time to arrive.  Come early for coffee and donuts. Take a good close look at the PBY being restored.  After the meeting we will fire up a grill to cook some burgers & dogs.  This will also be a good opportunity to introduce any friends you may have to the RAF, so please feel free to bring them along.   Fly or drive, but be sure to kill some Maine Black Flies on your way.
