Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

We hope you will join us at RAF Trail stops #4 and #5

#4 McIntosh Reserve | June 2-4 | Georgia

#5 Trigger Gap | June 2-4 | Arkansas

The RAF Trail 2017, is our way to showcase some very special places, some of which the RAF has had an impact on – often partnering with local, state, and national organizations. Flying the RAF Trail is your opportunity to land at a series of special destinations and enjoy the fellowship of like-minded aviators, their families and friends. Watch for “The RAF Supports This Airstrip” signs!

This first RAF Trail begins in March and traverses states along, or east of the Mississippi River. Click HERE for map and dates.

Hosted by each respective RAF State Liaison, you can pick up the RAF Trail at its beginning in March during the popular Arcadia Rodeo, or any place along the route that works for you. The RAF Trail full itinerary is posted and updated on the RAF Calendar.

Each destination offers unique recreational aspects, special activities and a small memento of appreciation from your hosts, the RAF. You need not be a member of the RAF, but we believe when you experience what we’re about, you may decide our goals are worthy of your support.

We are proud to have had a hand at some of these select places, carrying out the RAF mission to preserve, maintain or create airstrips for recreational access. On behalf of our partners in this effort, we invite all pilots to enjoy recreational flying among friends.
