Longtime RAF Volunteer Is Founder Cap Winner

The annual RAF Founder Cap drawing – traditionally held during the Montana Aviation conference – was won by longtime RAF supporter Jon Hudson of Bozeman, Montana. He takes home a new Garmin 660 donated by Steve Vold, president and CEO of Aerotronics in Billings.

“Jon has been a tireless RAF volunteer for over a dozen years,” RAF Administrative Director Tricia McKenna said. If you’ve enjoyed the Ryan Field Fly-in, you’ve seen him grilling your steak. He wears the orange shirt for Forest Service meetings and helps staff events for the RAF. If you attended the AOPA regional fly-in in Missoula, you may have seen his spotless C180 sheltering the RAF volunteers. He and his wife Berkley also enjoy backcountry flights in their Husky.
