BLACKWATER AIRFIELD WORK PARTY, FLORIDA

A “work for fun” airfield work party is scheduled for Blackwater Airfield in Munson, Florida! A variety of tasks will be accomplished, including picnic table treatment, pressure washing the fire ring seats, sanding and repainting barbecue grills, painting the marker tires, and tending the airfield, including the installation of a new RAF windsock.

There is primitive, on-airfield camping at Blackwater. Your RSVP is required and N-Number is needed for a blanket permit: bcapozzi@theraf.org. Please bring work clothes and gloves. Meals will not be provided. Activities in the vicinity include hiking, fishing and swimming (this may be closed for annual service).
