AK: AVIATORS/PIONEERS OF ALASKA EXPEDITION – MCCARTHY

The Seventh Annual Aviators/Pioneers of Alaska Expedition to McCarthy, AK will be June 16-19. This fly-in will be 4 days of fun and history. Activities will include historic attractions, pancake breakfasts (and pancake flipping competitions), picnic lunches and potluck dinners. ‘Flight-see’ to your heart’s content and on Saturday join the work party improving a bush strip on National Park Service land (airstrip to attend is under consideration by NPS). A designated area for float planes has been established at Long Lake 20 miles away, please contact Al Clayton to give advance notice and for more information so transportation can be arranged.
