MEET US IN MAY!

The RAF will be attending many events in May. Look at our Event Calendar to learn where you can get involved!

We’ll be at Cavanaugh Bay, ID May 3-5 for a weekend work party to repair/replace irrigation sprinklers and apply fertilizer to the runway.

On May 4th, help us prepare Ryan Field in MT for the annual Ryan Fly-In. Bring your work gloves, chain saws, etc. The RAF will provide lunch. Please review the required safety briefing on the Airfield Guide.

If you are lucky, you’re planning to attend Alaska’s Great Alaska Aviation Gathering this year in Palmer May 4 and 5. RAF volunteers will be in booth #135 and will give a presentation on efforts to preserve the recreational public-use cabins in Southeast Alaska.

The Utah Back Country Pilots are having the spring fly-in and social on May 4 at IBEX.  

Head to California May 10-12 to attend the Enchanted Valley Fly-In at New Cuyama Airport (L88).

We’ll have an RAF Ambassador at the Landis Airpark Flying Horseman Fly-In in Virginia May 17-19.

We need your help at the Cave Flat work party in Utah on May 18. Please consider helping us maintain this airstrip.

If you’re in Montana towards the end of May, join us for the Spotted Bear work party on May 25.
