Favorite airstrip: The dream of flying came early. As a kid I loved going to the top of Route 254 in Thomaston, CT with my grandfather or my Dad to watch the gliders soar above Waterbury Airport (locally known as Mt. Tobe). This was my favorite airport until this past winter when I had the rare opportunity to fly into the ice runway at Alton Bay. I even got a hat. This is now my favorite airport.
Next adventure: So many are on the list, but my next adventure will include a tailwheel endorsement and a seaplane rating.

Ken Kilcourse and I have owned the airfield for the past almost 50 years or so .
We are now considering options going forward and were wondering if the RAF has some ideas.
housing development would be last on my list.
