DOES THE RAF MISSION MATTER TO YOU?
The RAF depends on folks who are passionate about preserving, improving, and creating airstrips for recreational access throughout the country. If this mission appeals to you, you might be interested in the rewarding volunteer role of RAF Liaison.
To capture the spirit and purpose of an RAF Liaison, we’re unveiling the new RAF Liaison video, created by our good friends at Voortex Productions. Learn why the Liaison role was created, and how Liaisons are the determined force behind the RAF’s successes. They’re a team of dedicated airstrip advocates across the country.
We are currently seeking more enthusiastic Liaisons to pitch in. As volunteer Liaison, you are the point of contact for opportunities related to the RAF mission in your state. Liaisons further the RAF mission by identifying prospective projects, applying for grants, building relationships with aviation stakeholders, supporting individuals and organizations during cooperative work parties, helping create community, and more.
Help is especially needed in these states:
Alabama
Arizona
Colorado
Delaware
Florida
Hawaii
Kentucky
Louisiana
Maryland
Mississippi
Missouri
Nebraska
New Jersey
New York (Eastern)
North Carolina
Tennessee
Texas
Vermont
We are also seeking more “VP’s of Appreciation” who write and mail our thank you notes to RAF donors. These folks find this simple but all-important task a very rewarding way to help the RAF mission.
If either of these ways of helping appeals to you, please contact RAF Volunteer Coordinator Erin White, ewhite@theraf.org or call 970-209-5980.
