AK: AVIATORS AND PIONEERS OF ALASKA FLY-OUT/DRIVE-OUT TO FIREWEED

The Aviators and Pioneers of Alaska fly-out/drive-out to Fireweed (0AK8) near McCarthy, AK is set for July 11-14, 2025. Camping is welcome. Flight-see to your heart’s content, and on Saturday join a work party to improve an airstrip on National Park Service land. Enjoy several potluck dinners, pancake breakfasts, and a daily pancake flipping competition (pan only, no flippers allowed). For those who do not wish to camp, there are several other options for accommodations at B&Bs and lodges.
