AK: FIREWEED FLYOUT/DRIVEOUT

The Aviators and Pioneers of Alaska fly-out/drive-out to Fireweed (0AK8) near McCarthy, AK is set for July 12-15, 2024. Camping is welcome. Flight-see to your heart’s content, and on Saturday join a work party to improve Peavine strip on National Park Service land. Enjoy several potluck dinners, pancake breakfasts, and a daily pancake flipping competition (pan only, no flippers allowed). For those who do not wish to camp, there are several other options for accommodations at B&Bs and lodges.
