CT: WATERBURY WORK PARTY

Your help is needed at an upcoming work party at Waterbury Airport (N41). The event will take place on Saturday, July 29 starting at 10am. The airport will be upgraded with some needed amenities, thanks to a recent grant award by the RAF.

Items to accomplish include:
– installation of an outhouse. Yes, a bathroom finally!
– construction of two 10′ picnic tables
– installation of a pole mounted BBQ grill
– fire pit improvements with crushed stone and an RAF fire ring
– general airport clean up

Items to bring (if able):

Work gloves, rakes, shovels, general yard working tool, general construction tools

BBQ lunch provided; camping is optional.
