FL: BLACKWATER AIRFIELD WORK PARTY AND 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

A work party and RAF 20th anniversary celebration will be held at Blackwater Airfield (8FD3) on November 10-12, 2023. Enjoy hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, socializing and relaxing.

A variety of campground amenities and recreational opportunities are readily accessible nearby at Krul Recreation Area campgrounds with improved camping sites and restrooms with showers. Enjoy swimming in Krul Lake or hiking the trails through dense woods and suspension bridges over ravines. Floaters and paddlers can enjoy the Blackwater River which winds through the area. An airfield day use fee of $2 is charged by the State of Florida and must be paid online prior to arrival. Krul Campground has several payment options available for its camping sites and showers: there is a $10 camping only fee or $15 for camping with shower house access.
