GA: PATTERSON ISLAND WORK PARTY

A work party is scheduled for Saturday, September 14 at Patterson Island, GA. Patterson Island has new owners and they are very excited about opening it up to the aviation community. On the 14th, a tree service is coming to cut limbs to widen the grass strip, and help is needed for moving all the limbs they cut. What To Bring: sunscreen, hat, closed toe shoes, etc., some good work gloves, chain/pole saw if you have it. Food and drink will be provided, but it wouldn’t hurt to bring some additional water and snacks. Shuttling will be provided from Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (KBQK) to a ferry boat that provides access to the island.
