IA: ANTIQUE AIRFIELD WORK PARTY

A work party will be held at the Antique Airfield (IA27) in Blakesburg, IA May 20, 2023 (bad weather date is May 21). Volunteers will clean up brush around the ends of the runways and otherwise get the field ready for the warm season. Weather permitting, there will be camping and a campfire the night before the work party for those who would like to arrive earlier. There should also be some time to tour the Air Power Museum, located on the airfield.

Please RSVP by email or phone to Iowa Liaison Ken Warren (kwarren@theraf.org or 319-721-0152. Lunch will be provided if there is an accurate headcount for the work party. Volunteers should wear long pants and bring a pair of work gloves, sunscreen, a hat, and water.
