NC: JACKSON COUNTY AIRPORT AUTUMN FLY-IN/DRIVE-IN

Visit the ‘mountain top airport’ (Jackson County 24A) for the annual Autumn Fly-in and Drive-in. The event is Saturday, November 2, 11 AM – 2 PM. Meal plates with hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings are only $10. The event is located in a fantastic place up in the mountains, right next to Smoky Mountains National Park, and is a great place to fly to. It also has a great connection with the local outfitters for outdoor recreation – they’ll pick you up right from the airport. Look for GA State Liaison Kevin Barry at the event, along with other RAF GA Ambassadors.
