OR: OWYHEE STATE AIRPORT WORK PARTY

There will be a work party at Owyhee State Airport (28U) in Oregon on April 29, beginning 08:00 PDT.  

*This event was originally scheduled for April 8 and rescheduled due to weather.*

This activity is undertaken in collaboration with the Willowa County Pilots Association and the Idaho Aviation Association.

***NOTE:  This is scheduled for 8 AM PACIFIC TIME***

Efforts will include runway maintenance (i.e. filling holes and raking) and relocating the outhouse.  Please wear sturdy shoes, gloves, long sleeve shirts and sun/eye protection.  

If you can bring one or more of the following tools with you to help, it would be appreciated:  

Pick
Shovel
Rake
5’ Pry Bar
8 lb Maule
30’ – Tie Down Wire
Wire Cutters
Pliers

Volunteers will be provided with water, Gatorade and fruit.  Of course, you are welcome to camp overnight and/or try your luck at fishing.
