NEW KANSAS LIAISON LUKE REBER

The RAF warmly welcomes Luke Reber to the State Liaison team.

Luke was born and raised in McPherson, Kansas, where his passion for aviation began at an early age. Inspired by his father, Luke earned his Private Pilots License at 17, and has since added an instrument rating, seaplane rating, and a tailwheel endorsement. Over the past decade, Luke has built a career in the aviation industry, focusing on aircraft and fractional ownership sales with major manufacturers and providers. “My experience has given me a deep appreciation for how aviation connects people, places, and the spirit of adventure,” he says.

A flight into Trigger Gap for an airplane camping trip in 2021 ignited his interest in backcountry flying, and inspired him to get involved with the RAF.

An active member of his local flying club, Luke regularly flies a 1969 Cessna 172K known as “Snoopy”. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, golfing, flying, and spending time with family.

“I’m passionate about supporting the RAF’s mission. I look forward to helping expand access to Kansas airstrips, and inspiring others to experience the freedom of recreational flying,” he says.  If you’re a private landowner in Kansas interested in building an airstrip for recreational use, Luke says, “I’d love to connect and explore ways to make it happen.” Contact him at lreber@theraf.org.
