PHOTO CONTEST ILLUSTRATES RAF MISSION

The 2018 RAF Photo Contest concluded, with striking results. We had split the nation into five regions and asked you to send in your favorite images of your, or your friend’s airplane in a recreational setting. We also added a new category this year, for youth ages 18 and under.

Again, our judges had difficulty selecting just one winner from each region, finally settling on eleven winners and six Honorable Mentions. Each winner will receive a package of high-quality greeting cards with their photo on the front and photo credit on the back, with our appreciation.

Judge Ann Warner said, “How joyful it was to look at all the submissions in the 2018 photo contest and how difficult to choose only a few “winners”! Many pilots, it appears, are also excellent photographers. These impressive pictures will make wonderful RAF note cards.”

All photos – even non-winner’s images – are archived, for possible future use in RAF publicity, including photo credit.
