THANK YOU TO THE LIGHTSPEED AVIATION FOUNDATION

The Recreational Aviation Foundation is pleased to announce that it placed third in the 2013 Lightspeed Aviation Foundation Pilot’s Choice Grant program. The Division 1, third place award of $6,000 will be used toward furthering the RAF mission and we would like to thank everyone at  Lightspeed for their continued commitment to aviation.

Thank you all for voting for the RAF, and demonstrating your support of the RAF mission.

“If Lightspeed’s goal is to make more people aware of the hard-working groups promoting aviation, they certainly succeeded,” said RAF board member Reade Genzlinger, adding, “That helps all of us.”

For the fourth year in a row, Lightspeed Foundation created a friendly match between the many non-profit organizations, each promoting aviation in their respective ways. RAF is proud to have placed “in the money” among the fifteen finalists and congratulates each of the winners.
