WHAT? NO ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES, YOU ASK?

We are proud that the RAF stands out as the trusted group of people who preserve, improve, and create airstrips for recreational enjoyment.

The RAF isn’t a “membership” organization. We prefer the word “supporter” because that’s what you are. Those who like what we do send a contribution supporting our work. Those who love what we do send even more. Many volunteer their time and talents, as well.

We work year-round on projects across the country. We often get questions like “when am I due?” Well, the answer is “whenever you want.” If it’s been a year or two since your last donation, you receive an email noting your most recent donation, with an easy, secure way to donate again, and we put your donations to work with appreciation!  

We only mail one simple request to consider us for your year-end giving. We recap some of our year’s accomplishments, thanks to your donations and our many hard-working volunteers. And we’re always delighted to hear from you, and answer any questions you have.

So, while we may remind you when you last donated, you won’t receive RAF dues notices, nor a membership card. Instead, your donation brings you into this big family that shares a passion for recreational aviation, and for leaving things better than we found it.
