LEGACY PLANNING SERIES: WILL BENEFICIARIES

  • You can designate the RAF as the residual beneficiary of all, or part of your estate after other bequests are fulfilled; or you can name the RAF as a contingent beneficiary in the event other named beneficiaries predecease the Donor.
  • A specific percentage of your estate, or a specified dollar amount are often seen in this type of legacy gift.
  • The only requirement is that you have a Will that has been executed by you in your state, and that a footnote (known as a codicil) has been legally added to by the attorney that drafted your Will.
  • You can specify an RAF project or initiative, the RAF Endowment, or the RAF will simply use it to further the RAF Mission to preserve, improve, and create airstrips for recreational access.
