MATHIEU LABS

Vice President of Appreciation

Mathieu’s love of aviation started at the age of 1 when his grandpa gave him a ride in his Cessna 150. Since then, he has been to OSH every year since 1990, either flying in with grandpa, flying himself, or just camping. He enjoys flying Young Eagles and is the President/Young Eagles Coordinator of EAA Chapter 931. Mathieu hopes that through involvement in Young Eagles, kids will be inspired to explore an aviation career.

Mathieu attended the University of Dubuque for aviation management and marketing, and received his MBA. He currently works in law enforcement as a production/inventory assistant and enjoys protecting those that protect us.

Mathieu likes flying around Wisconsin grabbing stamps with his wife Lauren in a Cessna 172N STOL or Citabria. They got engaged in a C172 and flew in on a Bell for their grand wedding entrance. His dream would be to own a Cessna 180/185 with skis.

When Mathieu isn’t flying, he enjoys any outdoor activity or traveling with his two 4-legged kids Moose & Zanna, competing at dock diving events.

Recently, he joined the Civil Air Patrol to become an orientation pilot.
