“OPEN FOR BUSINESS” THREE MONTANA AIRSTRIPS

For pilots flying the Northwest, summer flying season is off to a great start! And the Recreational Aviation Foundation is “open for business” – that is, the serious business of safe and memorable recreation!

Maybe you are headed north to Alaska and are looking for great places to land and camp or explore in Montana. Check out these recreational airstrips, just three of the many outstanding backcountry destinations the RAF had a hand in creating or preserving for you:

Russian Flat (M42)

Lincoln, MT (S69)

Ryan Field (2MT1)

All have campsites and are open to the public. Before flying into Ryan Field, we require that you receive the Safety Briefing

For more information about each, see Pilot Info on the RAF website.
