LYONS RELOCATES, CONTINUES RAF EFFORTS

Pilot, Army veteran and Boston-born Drew Lyons stepped up and became the RAF Connecticut Liaison in November 2018 while working and living there. He is moving one state north to Massachusetts, and feels so strongly about the RAF mission that he will continue his advocacy efforts in his native state as 2024 begins.

New Hampshire Liaison John Meade had been covering Massachusetts, and welcomes Drew’s willingness to continue his efforts in that state. Drew will also help represent Rhode Island.

Drew will continue working with each RAF state liaison in New England and the Northeast to “grow our presence and help fulfill our mission of preserving, and ultimately increasing, recreational aviation access throughout the region,” he said.

Haha, we’ll definitely link up. Crow Island is always a favorite, so we can meet up there and enjoy some good grub and cool aircraft!

Drew, thanks for your support and interest in 4B9 last summer – I hope the folks there will continue the RAF relationship as I’ve also moved on to another state (AR).
