RAF ATTENDS ALASKA AIRMEN’S SHOW

The visitors were as welcoming as the balmy Anchorage spring weather, and the RAF signed up new members and answered questions all day Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4 during the Alaska Aviation GatheringRAF Board member Steve Johnson had reserved a double booth in an ideal spot adjacent to the food court, and shared half with the RAF. His SuperCub.org display attracted many visitors. By the end of Saturday, there were a lot more bright orange caps wandering through the 275 exhibits.

Pilots of all experience and interests stopped by to express their appreciation for the mission of the RAF, and the progress it’s made in protecting backcountry aviation. Volunteer and RAF Montana state liaison Jon Hudson and Berkely Hudson manned the show, with help from RAF volunteer Carmine Mowbray.
